Attached is the answer key for the double replacement (precipitation) reactions.

        PreAP Chem - A3 and A5

        March 2nd, 2012

Attached is practice problems for limiting reactant.

For extra practice (not required, but useful in studying for the test on Thursday) - use your solubility chart for the double replacement reaction to see if the reaction will form a double replacement.

        Then answer the following questions:

        What are the spectators?

What is the net ionic equation?

            AP Chem-ers ….

Use the website to better understand acid/base reactions of salts.

            http://group.chem.iastate.edu/Greenbowe/sections/projectfolder/flashfiles/acidbasepH/ph_meter.html

Before looking at the salt reactions test the pH of various acids and bases. Also look at how changing the concentration [M] of the acid or base effects pH.

            For the salt reactions -

Choose 5 from each of the salt banks (i.e. Salt I, Salt II, Salt III)

            Then identify the 6 unknowns.

            Yes… all for points :)

            Have pHun!
