ALUMNI

We owe so much to the alumni of our Catholic School System. YOU are the classes that have laid the strong foundation and planted the deep roots of which our Catholic education’s strength has flourished. The halls of Springfield Catholic High School are lined with your photos and names. We would like to share some of your major accomplishments during your tenure in high school.

Did you know that Alumni have a special section in the Connections Newsletter? We ask that you contact Springfield Catholic Schools Central Office at 417-865-5567 to find out how to submit articles of interest about your graduating class. Academic achievements, sports accomplishments, current events during your high school years that may have shaped your future, a teacher that made a difference in your life, etc. Appropriate photos with names of graduates are welcome. All articles will be considered by the Editorial Committee for publishing in the upcoming issues of the Connections Newsletter. Let us hear from you!

Calling all St. Agnes and Springfield Catholic
Alums. Exciting news for our graduates.

Currently, an annual “All Schools Reunion” is organized and held for graduating classes of 25+ years. This is due to the hard work and dedication of a handful of graduates who are determined to stay in touch with their fellow class members. Each year specific graduate classes are honored and class volunteers step up to the plate and contact each other to encourage everyone’s participation.

Likewise, tradition has been that the less than 25 year graduates celebrate generally their 10 year and 20 year reunions. Take time to join in the fun and get reacquainted with your classmates, meet spouses and reminisce about your school years

Central Office staff offers assistance to all reunion classes by providing the most recent addresses and phone numbers we have on file. We are also happy to help you spread the news about your upcoming reunion through the Connections Newsletters which are mailed to 4000+ homes including to all alumni who have kept us updated with current addresses. Articles and photos from your successful reunion(s) are welcome and encouraged for publishing.

Great news: A new Alumni Association is
being planned and we invite your input.

We want to make sure this Alumni Association is for ALUMNI. We enlist your active participation in forming this group from the ground up. Contact Jean Gruetzemacher, 417-865-5567 if you are interested in serving on this unique and interesting committee.

Check this website frequently in the coming months to stay in tune with reunion plans and the formation decisions for the Catholic Alumni Association. It’s all about YOU!
